It’s no secret that there’s been a shift in makeup culture. With skincare at the forefront of the beauty industry, brands and consumers have shown an increased interest in products that nourish and enhance natural beauty. In addition to the “no-makeup” makeup trend, beauty companies are also developing a newfound dedication to inclusive beauty - thanks Rihanna! I’m always on the hunt for brands that value these emerging trends, so when Ivy Wild invited me to visit their boutique, I had to see what all the hype was about.
Welcome to Ivy Wild
Located on Florida Ave and 14th Street, Ivy Wild is a new beauty boutique that curates non-toxic skincare and makeup products that fuse style with a bit of edge. I kicked off my visit by sharing my skincare priorities with Ivy Wild founder Rachel Mulcahy, who walked me through a bunch of different products to fit my needs. Brands featured at the store include Kosas, Odacité, and a latest favorite of mine - Joanna Vargas Skincare - among others.

I left Ivy Wild with the Kosas Tinted Face Oil because it was such a hit! I’ve worn it to work every day this week and I’m never going back to foundation outside of the weekend.
