One day, while walking through Target after making a return, I noticed this dress hanging on a rack.  In that moment a voice in my head said, "Charmaine, you just made a return and you have to get back to work... just leave girl"… but just as I turned to exit, an even bigger voice in my head cried, "Charmaine, that dress was made for you... please try it on".  I'm not one to ignore a cry for help, so here we are.

Nothing says "summer" like a crisp linen look.  I love the effortless vibe that linen exudes, so when I saw this matching set, I knew that I had to have it.  One thing that you can't tell about me from my blog or Instagram is that I like to joke around with my family and friends a lot.  With my twenty sixth birthday on the horizon, my latest joke has been that I'll be dressing more like a wife moving forward in an effort to be the change that I want to see.  I now ask myself, "What would Meghan Markle wear?" in the wake of my many fashion conundrums.  Duchess dreams aside, this linen outfit is a lovely edition to my grown woman wardrobe.

Did you know that Charmant means Charming in French?  It was one of the first things I learned as a little girl. My Haitian heritage is a major point of pride for me, so when I was approached by Haitian American brand Vibrate Higher, I was over the moon with excitement.
